Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center
As a member of the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, we are required to maintain and demonstrate high quality audit services, obtain certain levels of continuing education specifically in the auditing of benefit and retirement plans, and must include plan audits in our peer review process.

Kirk Stitt is SMC’s expert on retirement and benefit plans. He also serves as team captain on peer review and quality review engagements conducted by the AICPA. He continues to work in several industries, giving him expertise in areas of healthcare, manufacturing and agriculture, as well as the recreation and hospitality industries.
