Summary
Provides tax planning, tax preparation and tax reviews to both individual and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply technical tax principles to practical business problems in a variety of industries including construction, healthcare and manufacturing/distribution.
- Assume full responsibility for small tax engagements with limited supervision.
- Provide high level support for clients including managing expectations and meeting deliverable deadlines.
- Assist with preparation of tax returns for complicated business entities and individuals.
- Provide review for business entities and individuals.
- Work as part of a team that helps to provide tax knowledge and experience to clients.
- Develop, motivate and train staff and intern level team members.
- Collaborate with managers and partners on both team and client issues.
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s in Accounting required. Minimum of 3-5 years of public accounting experience. CPA certification preferred.

Authority/Responsibility:
- Reports to Tax Partner of Soren McAdam Christenson LLP
- No direct reports, but will have supervisory responsibility of staff on assigned engagements.
- Responsible to provide regular feedback including performance reviews of staff.
Other Preferences:
- Must possess excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must possess a strong willingness to participate in a high-energy team environment.
