Managers and Directors LAURA ACOSTA, DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERTISE
Laura is responsible for recruiting top-level talent. She works with senior management in setting the firm’s strategic development initiatives; develops and monitors policies and procedures for the firm in compliance with state and federal regulations, and works with Partners and Managers to ensure training needs are met. Laura is responsible for coordinating timely and relevant feedback for employees, as well as coordinating annual performance evaluations and goal setting. She coordinates the full spectrum of employee benefits, including renewals, open enrollment and facilitating communication. Laura also provides client consultation for state and federal compliance issues, policies and procedures, and employee relations.
Laura earned her BS in accounting and finance from the University of California, Riverside and received her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation in 2003.
