KIRK G. STITT, CPA

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERTISE

Mr. Stitt is SMC's expert on retirement and benefit plans. He also serves as team captain on peer review and quality review engagements conducted by the AICPA. He continues to work in several industries, giving him expertise in areas of healthcare, manufacturing and agriculture, as well as the recreation and hospitality industries.

EXPERIENCE

• Served on committees with several state and national accounting groups
• Instructor and speaker for continuing professional education courses and conferences
• University level guest lecturer covering topics such as computer controls, electronic spreadsheets, audit sampling, and employee benefit programs

EDUCATION

• Graduated from the University of Redlands in 1972 with a bachelor's degree in business and economics, emphasis on accounting
• Stays current in all areas of accounting, auditing, consulting, and taxes, in addition to all hardware and software developments applicable to clients' needs
• Licensed CPA, California

• Member of The Community Foundation Board of Directors Serving Riverside and San Bernardino Counties
